Cooperation between Royal Brinkman and SB Soli Plant

Royal Brinkman and SB Soli Plant have ratified their collaboration to market a product based on a new technology: Micro Carbon Technology®. This carbon-based technology improves plant uptake of nutrients and other molecules. Proper nutrient uptake plays an important role in improving plant resilience. The X-Tend Gold product features this technology.

New Micro Carbon Technology® improves nutrient uptake

Micro Carbon Technology® is based on leonardite; a naturally formed, oxidized deposit composed of prehistoric organic material. It contains a soft, humic material, rich in carbon, that has never been compressed or heated to become coal. With this technique, it is possible to upgrade regular fertilizer to a premium fertilizer.

Research
Royal Brinkman enters the product X-Tend Gold into the market in the covered horticulture sector. Intensive research has recently been conducted into the added value of the Micro Carbon Technology® in X-Tend Gold as an addition to the fertilizer program. This has revealed a clear added value. X-tend Gold can be given regularly with the fertilizer tank and can be used in all crops. The product makes the absorption of regular fertilizers easier for the plant.

Use of X-Tend Gold results in enhanced activity and diversity of beneficial microorganisms, improved soil physical structure, improved nutrient availability and uptake, and improved plant tolerance to environmental stress.

Challenges
The X-Tend Gold product fits well with the current challenges facing the industry. In particular, these challenges are the further greening of the sector and the increasing desire to improve the plant resistance of crops. X-Tend Gold is an interesting new tool in this regard, making use of the positive, prehistoric properties of leonardite.
