• Increases the soil's nutrient availability and its cation-exchange capacity.
• Increases the potential of compost, reduces phytotoxicity and burns during its formation.
• Reduces the effect of salts, degraded chemical compounds and toxic elements on plants.
• It improves the decomposition of organic matter, reducing losses through nitrogen leaching or volatilisation.
• It activates groups of actinomyceae bacteria that are responsible for the mineralisation of organic matter.
